Call me mama

You know the saying "don't cry other spilt milk"? Well I've never cried over milk but I cried over pumped breast milk and formula spilling. But mostly I cry when my baby throws up half the bottle I just made. I cry seeing him in pain from his acid reflux. He bares his burden with a smile. He is stronger than me. I love this boy and I don't know what I would do without him. He helps make me a better mama every day.

Today was not an easy day with my toddler. After dealing with a pee out all over me he decided to help by pouring my drink all over me. I was so frustrated and stressed. He just looked at me patted the wet spots on my pants, gave my legs a hug, and smiled up at me. It's so hard to stay upset at his sweet smiling face. He really is a joy to have around, even on his ornery days. He can turn any day around and bright up a room with his smiles. He made me a mommy and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Easter 2015

We spent Easter weekend in Arkansas with my sister. It was lots of fun. We went to the Discovery museum and a really awesome park.

A day off...

Mom's don't get days off. Not from doing the laundry, or the dishes, or wiping noses, or kissing boo-boos. Motherhood is never ending. And I'm fine with that, I love my boys! But some days I would just like to pee in private or eat a warm meal. I recently started a babysitting job, I watch a four-year old during the day and then pick up her sister and two aunts from school. I do this Tuesday-Friday. I've been doing it for a week now, and some days have been harder than others, at one point I wanted to yell at myself for taking the job, but then I remember it actually is making my life easier.

How?

My 18 month old has someone to play with during the day. (Which allows me to pee by myself. Yay! 😝) I can have a somewhat actually conversation with someone during the day. And when the big girls are home they help out with the 2 month old so I can finish dinner. So far I haven't gone anywhere with all 6 kids but I have 3 and for some reason it is just easier. When I figure out why I'll let you know.

My sister recently started a blog and she had a post about organizing your car.
(It's a great post and everyone should go check it out.)

I decided to follow her lead and get my car a little more organized. So far I've only gotten a box set up for the little bear cubs in my life.

I picked up this cute tub from Walmart today.

Here's the inside of my tub.
1. Carters onesie and gap footed pants (2 month old)
2. Gap jumper (18 month old)
1. Teething necklace
2. A bunch of six 4 and size 1 diapers
3. Baby wipes
 1. Extra pacifier
2. Contact solution (for me)
3. Hair band (for me)
4. Baby lotion
5. Extra can of formula
6. Walmart bags for blow outs and dirty diapers
7. Toy rattle
8. Toy tiger
9. Owl toy
10. Pig Kahuna by Jennifer Sattler
 And there you have it!

When I have extra money to spend I don't usually spend it on myself, but today I did. I got myself some white chuck Taylor's that I had been wanting. Oh, and I saved $9 at Old Navy today!

Hope y'all have a good day!
