VACATION!!!

I am so glad we were able to go on vacation this month, we all needed a break from life! It was long drive out to Utah, but we were able to stop in Denver and stay in a hotel with Shawnee, James, Leah, and Asher. They were also on their way to Utah, the whole family was making their way there for an aunts funeral. On the drive we hit some bad rain and lots of construction!

We couldn't see a thing!

Colorado mountains.

We made it Utah!!

After getting to Utah we went straight to the hotel, put our stuff in the room, and then everyone went to Brick Oven for dinner. We waited for over an hour for our food, everyone that got pizza had warm food...I got pasta, and it pretty much sucked!

At the funeral Remington decided he didn't want to be there so we spent the whole time in the hall. When hi s grandpa got up to speak, he looked at me with a big smile and then started looking for him! It was the cutest!

Later that day we all went for a hike, it was supposed to be just around the lake and more of a walk. Then it turned into one of the worlds hardest hikes! I felt like giving up so many times, but I kept telling myself the view would be worth it and if my 62 year old father-in-law could do it, I could!

My little family!

The sisters!! We are missing a few, but I love this picture of us!

My cute little man!

After the open house we went to get some ice cream!

The last part of our trip was spent at Zion National Park. It was so much fun! We hiked Angles Landing and The Narrows. On the Narrows I took a little fall, but all was well!
